Hong Kong

My name is Beth Strickland. I am from Huntsville, AL and The Rock has been my home church since 2005. I first heard God's call on my life to missions when I was 16. Twelve years and many shorter term mission trips later, I found where I was called to go and live - Hong Kong. I first visited in 2013 and during that trip felt God saying, "I am doing something awesome and wonderful in Asia. Do you want to come join me?" My spirit jumped within me and I knew I had come 'home'. I have been in Hong Kong and Asia ever since, preaching the Gospel, seeing people choose Christ, be baptized in water and the Holy Spirit, encouraging the Church and helping make disciple who then disciple others.

PRAYER REQUESTS

  • Many people across Hong Kong are opening their hearts to Jesus. Please pray for a greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit so that we can follow His lead more closely.

  • Continue to pray for greater unity among the churches in Hong Kong and throughout Southeast Asia and for a greater sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and where He is leading.

  • Pray for the Harvest to be GREAT and for more workers to help in harvesting.
