Mission
The mission of The Rock Church is: 'to help people discover a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.' A mission statement is a concise statement of purpose-a clear way to communicate to other and to remind ourselves of the reason our church exists. Our mission statement is a restatement of the purpose that Jesus Christ gave the Church in Matthew 28:19: Go into all the world and make disciples.

Values

• Authenticity - The church is a community that the world looks at to see what Jesus is like. Therefore humility, honesty, vulnerability and acceptance are central to how we relate to one another.
  

• Relevance - God and his purposes are timeless. Just as Jesus came into this world in time and space to do the work of His Father, we should also embody the plan and purposes of God in our generation. Living them in such a way that people see God at work within and through us.
  

• Intentionality - Intentionality is deciding on what is most important and doing that well. Our commitment is to give our best to what matters most, helping people discover a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
  

• People - The church is not a building, programs, or even the organization. It is people. The material resources we do have are simply tools to help us serve people better.
